CORRAL Neuse River Service Saturdays (2025-26)

CORRAL Neuse River Service Saturdays (2025-26)

Overview

CORRAL invites you to support our work through a morning of fun and hands-on service projects at our Neuse River farm!

Our Mission

CORRAL provides adolescent girls in high-risk situations a holistic program of equine therapy and education so they may gain access to a bright future.

Address

3120 Tarheel Clubhouse Rd., Raleigh, NC 27604

Dates & time

Open service events at CORRAL Neuse River are always from 9:30-noon and (usually!) on the second Saturday of the month.

Getting to the farm

Construction projects in the area are impacting navigation apps. Be sure your route takes you to Old Milburnie Road. As a backup, you can enter Beaverdam Elementary School (on Tarheel Club Ln.) into your app. Once you pass the school, you'll come to a three-way intersection - turn onto Tarheel Clubhouse. When you see Hidden Cove community entrance, turn right - you'll find CORRAL at the end of the gravel road. Please drive slowly on the gravel to help us avoid kicking up dust for our neighbors - many of them rely on open windows to stay cool.

What to wear/bring

Please come dressed in closed-toe farm shoes/boots. We also encourage you to bring work gloves and a water bottle. Our work will be outdoors, so dress with the weather in mind! Long pants, hats / SPF, and clothes you don't mind getting dirty are always a good choice.

Youth volunteering

We love having kids and families out on the farm! Volunteers under 18 years of age must register and attend with a caregiver. We are unable to accommodate youth volunteers on a drop-off basis. We are happy to sign off on community service sheets during or after the event.

Group volunteering

We love when folks bring their crew to CORRAL! If you're planning to volunteer as a group (5+ people with a shared organizational affiliation) please reach out to volunteer@corralriding.org so we can hook you up with your own registration link. If you're interested in scheduling a corporate / organization volunteer day outside of the monthly Saturday events we offer, let us know - we'd love to help!

Want to learn more about individual volunteer opportunities with CORRAL? Take our Volunteer 101 course for a closer look at our mission, programs, and volunteer roles at both farms.
