Join us for a sensory session exploring Maps and Contours!

My Sensory Adventures sessions are for the whole family and are wonderful for children who like to explore the world in sensory ways. The sensory activities are great for lots of different people including babies/early years, children with special educational needs, people with complex needs, children with profound and multiple learning disabilities, and autistic children.In this session, we are exploring Maps through Contours - making Foam Landscapes (Non-Messy) and/or Salt Dough Mountains (Messy &amp; Taste-Safe). Please let us know which option you&#x27;d like to explore (or you can always do both!).The sessions are led by Helen and Becky who will show you how to do all the activities and guide you through fun ways to explore the different textures, smells and sights!We are thrilled to be running these sessions in partnership with Wicksteed Park. The session will be in the Learning space behind the ice cream parlour.Session will run monthly with the following session happening in June, July and August - you can come to all four or just drop-in. Session are free with donations welcome 💕Please book 1 space as a family and/or bubble - we are keeping all stations separate and distanced so have space for 10 families per session so please do book in advance. Please let us know who is coming and what their needs might be - any information to make sure we can create the best environment for everyone to enjoy and feel comfortable.<h3>Carbon Theatre</h3>We are a Kettering-based company creating theatre and cultural projects. We started My Sensory Adventures throughout the 2020 lockdown to provide local families with free sensory packs and lots of digital resources. Our first four themes were Water, Earth, Wind and Fire (you can see them by <a href="https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCFH6IoMWgxQIiFErHaCIvLg" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">clicking here</a>) and we are thrilled to be exploring Maps for the next four months in four different ways: through Contours, Scale, Symbols and Direction. All our activities have Messy &amp; Taste-Safe and Non-Messy options to suit different sensory preferences. We are thrilled to be doing in-person sessions again.
