Screening of "Monty and Rose" featuring actor/artist Tony Fitzpatrick

<p>&quot;Monty and Rose&quot; is a 2019 documentary that tells the story of a pair of endangered Piping Plovers attempting to nest on the busiest beach in Chicago. The 23-minute film features the story of these birds, that have come back from the brink of extinction to expand their numbers in the Great Lakes. The 2019 nest was the first successful nest in Chicago&#x27;s city limits since 1948. </p><p>Chicago actor/artist Tony Fitzpatrick is among those featured in the film. Tony&#x27;s artwork has been collected in a number of esteemed institutions including the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Art Institute of Chicago. One of his latest acting credits is Amazon&#x27;s Patriot. Tony will join &quot;Monty and Rose&quot; filmmaker Bob Dolgan for an unplugged conversation after the screening. </p>
