The Boulder Mountainbike Alliance's mission is to serve as a positive voice for mountain biking in Boulder County, Colorado by improving the trail experience for all users through social rides and events, advocacy, and trail building. WHO THIS CLINIC IS FORYou’ve been mountain biking long enough to be comfortable on singletrack trails. You know how to shift and brake and are comfortable at a trail area like Betasso. You want to learn the skills you need to corner confidently.DESCRIPTIONYou’ve mastered a lot of skills, but now you’re looking to ride that twisty trail more smoothly or faster. In this clinic designed for adept riders, you’ll discover how to corner with confidence in tight switchbacks and rail corners at trail speeds. We will spend the beginning of the class reviewing Foundation skills.WHAT YOU’LL LEARN<ul><li>Perform high-speed cornering</li><li>Tackle berms</li><li>Corner at low speeds for tight switchbacks</li><li>Master track stands</li><li>Develop vision to look through the turns</li></ul>This is an intermediate class.Maximum 10 students. No matter how you ride your bike, you're about to ride it better!Clinic meets at Erie Singletrack at the new parking lot at the northwest corner of the intersection of Weld County Rd 6 and Weld County Rd 5.Start Time: 5:00 pm (please be there at 4:15 pm to allow ample prep time)COSTWe love to ride and we know that you do too so we try to keep our expenses low and then pass that savings onto our members.
