How can we make America&#x27;s political system work for the working class? That&#x27;s the question our two speakers will explore from different perspectives in this brand-new Braver Angels event, We the People&#x27;s Forum, featuring ordinary Americans. The forum will includes lots of time for Q and A. Jason Clark is a stay-at-home father and former factory worker and home remodeler from South Lebanon, Ohio. A Black progressive who voted for Bernie Sanders in the Democratic primaries, he believes that we need a multiracial working-class revolution to overthrow the influence of big corporations in America. Lance Nickol is a utility locator from West Chester, Ohio. A White conservative who enthusiastically voted for Donald Trump, he believes that politicians have rigged the system and intentionally divide Americans for their own gain. Join us for a deep exploration into how we might together find ways to solve one of America&#x27;s biggest challenges. About We the People&#x27;s Forum In this forum, everyday people are the experts. After all, they are the ones who know the most about their own lives—people who are often spoken of but rarely spoken with, their stories little known but often misunderstood. We will hear their stories and ideas on the issues of the day. We’ll hear from people of all races, classes, and places. Together, we’ll explore how We the People can build a more perfect union in a divided America.
