*SOLD OUT AND POSTPONED TO RAIN DATE*Shannon Bielski &amp; Moonlight Drive w/ Caitlin McDevittThursday, May 27th 20217pm seating | 7:30pm showShannon Bielski &amp; Moonlight Drive bring their soulful acoustic renditions of bluegrass, country, and pop favorites to Comet Ping Pong&#x27;s Spring Outdoor Music Series.Beginning May 26th and continuing into July, Comet will present a series of 7:00 pm concerts in the Comet Ping Pong parking lot for a limited audience of pre-reserved, seated, dine-in guests. The Spring schedule - attached - features artists ranging from folk and bluegrass to indie rock and synth pop and each performance will feature a comedy opening act to be announced.  Tickets will be sold via our website - through Eventbrite - by purchasing a table which seats up to 2, 4 or 8 guests per table.  There will be a 2 drink minimum for all attendees, food and drinks will be available to purchase from Comet Ping Pong, Buck&#x27;s Fishing &amp; Camping and Muchas Gracias.  Ticket prices:8 top table: $604 top table: $302 top table: $15In the event of rain, this concert will be rescheduled for Thursday, May 27th.***SHANNON BIELSKI &amp; MOONLIGHT DRIVEhttps://shannonbielski.bandcamp.com/Shannon Bielski began her musical journey at age seven with piano, soon progressing to violin. In her teens she took lessons in bluegrass fiddle from the phenomenal Rickie Simpkins, performed and recorded with the Zekiah Swamp Cats, and won a Public Performance Scholarship to attend the world-famous Bluegrass, Country, and Old-Time Music program at East Tennessee State University where she expanded her skills and talent with the help of teachers like Hunter Berry and Jason Leek. Her dreams of having her own band floated in the clouds over the moonlit mountains of Virginia on her drives north from Tennessee. Led by Shannon’s powerful and clear vocals, Moonlight Drive features hard driving instrumentals and heart-felt originals, with Kyle Windbeck on guitar, Rob Benzing on banjo, and Greg Mulley on bass. The ensemble won first place in the 2018 DCBU Mid-Atlantic Bluegrass Band Competition. Shannon has also been recognized for her song-writing talents, taking first place in the 2018 Deer Creek Fiddler’s Convention Songwriting Contest.
