<p>Combining intimate jazz improvisation with cinematic melodies and rock-and-roll verve, <strong>DRINKING BIRD</strong> is a trio that draws from a liberally defined American Songbook to build a sound of its own. Comprising New Yorker Eladio Rojas on the drums, Norway-bred guitarist Jacob Matheus, and Pacific Northwest native Tree Palmedo on trumpet, the members of Drinking Bird have performed with folk singers, pop stars, rock bands, and a host of jazz greats.</p>
