As an agent of change, MEE has shaped the lives of countless girls and women by passionately providing the transformative tools of storytelling to help them connect to their life’s purpose.SESSION DESCRIPTIONS:Keynote with Tamara McMillan: Female is the future, but we can only be the Present if we tell our truth.  And the most sincere and genuine way to do so; is by Reigniting our Dreams.  So, we can eventually Narrate our Stories to assist other women with unleashing their potential. This up-close and personal conversation will invite like-minded women to reexamine their relationships to determine whether they’re in alignment with their purpose in life.  Offering women practical tools to increase their confidence, activate their courage, and boldly #ChoosetoChallenge daily!  Challenge Discrimination with Sara Vacin: How many of us find ourselves in situations where we wish we spoke up, stepped up, and just did something to counteract a discrimination witnessed? If this sounds like you, come discover new and empowering ways to intervene even if you are a little quiet, scared, or unsure of yourself. In addition to bystander intervention, we will also learn about implicit bias and how our own thoughts, feelings, and actions may unknowingly harm others. Come empower yourself to challenge discrimination and in doing so, to create a more kind, equitable world. Challenge Your Finances with Kitty Bressington: Would you like to better understand your finances so you can make the most of what you have?  Kitty Bressington, CFP, CDFA, founding principal of Linden Financial Consultants will present ideas that help you do just that.  Being in charge of your own financial situation is easier when you have the financial knowledge to make stronger decisions.Challenge Your Self-Love with Brittany Guisintanner: Women were born to be free. We can carry the weight of the world, our own weight, and still make it look as though our hands are completely empty. As women, we are a force even when the world attempts to diminish our worth. The greatness we have living on the inside of us deserves to give birth! Join me in an interactive dialogue on recognizing the people, places, and things that impede on our self-worth and how to combat those interferences mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and physically so that we begin rising up to stand in our power and #ChallengeSelfLove.Challenge Your Community with Em LeMaster and Stephanie Burke: Join our group discussion to reflect upon the day, share insights, and create action steps for further involvement on an individual and community level. Let’s mobilize our #ChooseToChallenge! The agenda also includes: Honoring our GRIT Award winners. The GRIT Award is given to women within the community who exhibit tenacity, fearlessness, and spirit in advocating for an underrepresented group in the GLOW region.GLOW Women Rise is a registered 501c3.
