Word&Way is offering a monthly Christian book club at the intersection of faith, politics, and culture. Sign up today!

<a href="https://wordandway.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Word&amp;Way</a> exists to shape the minds, hearts, and actions of people in the ways of Jesus. We are expanding our ways of accomplishing this mission to include a monthly book club! Here&#x27;s how it will work:1. Each month we will select an exciting book related to faith, politics, and culture. 2. Folks will purchase the volume on their own through their favorite bookseller.3. Participants then sign up for an expertly facilitated discussion session .Our initial selection for June 2021 is <a href="https://amzn.to/3tg8moQ" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Praying with Our Feet: Pursuing Justice and Healing on the Streets</a>, written by Lindsey Krinks. In this book, she details her experiences as a street chaplain working to address homelessness and other inequities in Nashville, TN. Her story will inspire your own faith and stir your imagination about joining with Jesus in working for justice within your own community. Each discussion will be take place via Zoom. They will be facilitated by Rev. Beau Underwood, VP of External Affairs and Senior Editor at Word&amp;Way. Prior to this role, Beau has pastored congregations, worked in faith-based advocacy and communications for organizations based in Washington, DC, staffed congressional campaigns, and served as a community organizer. He holds graduate degrees in both religion and public policy and is currently pursuing a doctorate in public affairs. As he likes to joke, his twin expertise in the &quot;impolite&quot; topics of religion and politics makes him a terrible dinner companion but he is the perfect book club host.
