Join us on May 8th at 9:00am EST as our Black Mental Wellness trainees facilitate a family-friendly, restorative movement session.

Black Mental Wellness recognizes the invaluable benefits of mentoring the next generation of mental health and behavioral health providers of color. Throughout the month of May, our trainees will facilitate a range of mental health and wellness events dedicated to increasing awareness around child mental health.Join us on May 8th at 9:00am EST as two of our Black Mental Wellness trainees, Iris and Ayrricka, facilitate a family-friendly, restorative movement session. This session is jammed packed with breath work, passive stretching and lots of time to unwind and JUST BE. Gather your pillows, blankets and any other household items you need to support you, wear comfy clothes, and bring your journal and art supplies for some introspective + fun! The event will take place on the Zoom platform and log-in details will be emailed prior to the class. This is an ALL ages, ALL abilities event. This program is sponsored by donations received from the ClereStory Education Fund.
