Renga Happy Hour

Allyson Whipple is a poet and writing teacher. She is the author of two chapbooks: Come Into the World Like That (Five Oaks Press), and We're Smaller Than We Think We Are (Finishing Line Press). Allyson is co-editor of the Texas Poetry Calendar and pursuing her MFA with the University of Texas at El Paso. She teaches at Austin Community College.

Let's get together and spend an hour writing renga!

<p>Renga is a form of poetry that originated in Japan. It&#x27;s meant to be written collaboratively. Let&#x27;s socialize on Zoom and write renga together! The hour will start with a brief introduction to the conventions of the form, and then we&#x27;ll have plenty of time to write. All levels of poetry experience welcome.</p>
