Bacon. Bourbon. Breckenridge... what’s not to love?

Breckenridge Hogfest: Bacon and Bourbon returns Aug. 28–30, 2026, bringing a full weekend of whiskey, bacon, live music and pork-inspired dishes to Main Street Station and The Village at Breckenridge.

Presented by Sazerac and Weller, the weekend centers around the Bacon and Bourbon Grand Tasting on Saturday, Aug. 29, from 2 to 6 p.m. Guests can sample a broad lineup of bourbons, other whiskeys and barrel-aged spirits, and learn from the people who know the pours best.

Brand representatives and industry experts are on hand throughout the afternoon, giving guests the chance to dig into production, aging, flavor profiles and the stories behind the bottles. That access and education are a big part of what sets Hogfest apart. And there are bacon tastings while supplies last!

Grass It Up will perform at Main Street Station, while DJ NME1 brings the beats to The Village. Food will be available for purchase from Colorado and local vendors, while regional artists, retailers and small businesses are featured throughout the festival marketplace.

VIP guests get an earlier start and access to a more in-depth tasting experience, including the VIP Lounge at Sauce on the Maggie, a fully catered food buffet, guided bourbon education and premium selections not available at the festival booths.

For those looking to make a full weekend of it, the All-Access pass includes Friday’s Bourbon Pairing Dinner, Saturday’s VIP experience and Sunday’s Bacon and Bloodies Brunch.

The weekend begins Friday night with the Bourbon Pairing Dinner at Sauce on the Maggie. Executive Chef Michael Irwin has created a multi-course menu paired with premium selections from Weller and The Sazerac Company.

Whitney Krystof, Regional On-Premise Manager for Sazerac’s Midwest region, will guide guests through the evening. A Chicago native with years behind the bar at some of the city’s most popular spots, Krystof brings a bartender’s perspective to the table, sharing the nuances of each pour and the stories, craft and history behind the glass.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with dinner beginning at 7 p.m. The pairing dinner is available exclusively as part of the festival’s All-Access pass.

All-Access guests return to Sauce on the Maggie Sunday for Bacon and Bloodies Brunch, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

This year, we're featuring both Pappy Van Winkle and William Larue! With this ticket, join us in the VIP Hospitality Lounge at Sauce on The Maggie starting with a Bourbon Tasting Seminar at 12:30pm. Taste and explore allocated and hard to find bourbons while enjoying delicious pork dishes. Beat the crowds by gaining early access to the Grand Tasting at 1:00 where you’ll have access to Live Music, Bourbon Education, a Commemorative Glass, unlimited spirits samples, bacon samples (while supplies last).
