FFT: Journey Through Marine Ecosystems

We have a passion to preserve and protect our environment in Manatee County, mixed with a compassion for the well-being of our community and its visitors.  From ecological testing of our estuaries’ water quality to organizing classes for visitors, the Natural Resources Department staff take to heart their responsibilities of ensuring we are all surrounded by a safe and beautiful environment that will enhance the quality of life for all in Manatee County.

Join us at Blackstone Park for a fun educational event where you will learn about the different types of marine ecosystems, ocean zones, the plants and animals that live there, and how they work together to keep our water healthy. Complete with fun activities and crafts, you are sure to be as entertained as you are informed about all that our marine ecosystems have to offer. Program suitable for children and their families. Face coverings and social distancing are required for activities less than 6 feet apart. Face coverings are encouraged for distanced activities as well. Blackstone Park – North Pavillion
