The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) was created in 1953 as an independent agency of the federal government to aid, counsel, assist and protect the interests of small business concerns, to preserve free competitive enterprise and to maintain and strengthen the overall economy of our nation. We recognize that small business is critical to our economic recovery and strength, to building America's future, and to helping the United States compete in today's global marketplace. Although SBA has grown and evolved in the years since it was established in 1953, the bottom line mission remains the same. The SBA helps Americans start, build and grow businesses. Through an extensive network of field offices and partnerships with public and private organizations, SBA delivers its services to people throughout the United States, Puerto Rico, the U. S. Virgin Islands and Guam.The Orange County / Inland Empire District covers the counties of Orange, Riverside, and San Bernardino in California.

The Orange County/Inland Empire District Office will be hosting an informational webinar on the SBA Restaurant Revitalization Fund.

The restaurant industry and related food businesses have been profoundly impacted by Covid-19. The American Rescue Plan Act established the Restaurant Revitalization Fund (RRF) to provide funding to help restaurants and other eligible businesses keep their doors open. Recipients are not required to repay the funding as long as funds are used for eligible uses no later than March 11, 2023.The SBA Orange County/Inland Empire District Office will be offering an informational webinar meant to inform and educate business owners in the restaurant, bar, catering, food truck and other restaurant groups to join in this event and learn how they might benefit from this program. We would like to invite you and the organization you represent to join us. The SBA Restaurant Revitalization Fund Overview webinar will take place via Microsoft Teams Live Events on Wednesday, April 28th from 11 am - 12 pm PST.Pre-registration is required.
