Join us for NAWBO Richmond's Coffee and Connect, the ideal way to kick off your Friday and wrap up your week. This monthly networking event offers a chance to meet NAWBO Richmond Board members, welcome new members, and forge valuable connections with fellow women business owners. This month's event is hosted by NAWBO member Anna McChesney, owner of The Center for Creative Healing, a group therapy practice specializing in trauma-informed care through creative approaches like music therapy, art therapy, play therapy, and creative writing. Enjoy coffee and light refreshments as you mingle!

ABOUT THE HOST:

Anna McChesney is a board-certified music therapist, licensed professional counselor, and EMDR-certified therapist with over 20 years of experience in mental health. As CEO of The Center for Creative Healing, she has led innovative work in music and art therapy, crisis stabilization, and creative wellness practices. Anna has consulted with school systems, co-authored curriculum for state-operated programs, and currently serves as Vice-Chair on Virginia’s Music Therapy Advisory Board appointed by the Governor. While not currently accepting new clients, she specializes in supporting professional women experiencing anxiety, burnout, and complex trauma, and is available for workshops, speaking engagements, and consulting.

The Center for Creative Healing is a group therapy practice specializing in trauma-informed care through creative approaches like music therapy, art therapy, play therapy, and creative writing. Grounded in science and rooted in compassion, the center supports children, teens, and adults in navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and emotional regulation. With two Richmond-area locations, the practice offers individual and group therapy, clinical supervision, and community workshops designed to promote healing, connection, and personal growth.
