While an effective governing board is critical to the health of nonprofits, the board’s role in the work of the organization is not always clear. Lack of understanding when it comes to the board’s essential roles can lead to issues such as micromanagement, rogue decision-making, lack of engagement, and more. During this session, nonprofit executives and board members are invited to attend with their chief development officers to gain clarity on the board’s roles and responsibilities and the importance of relationships.
