The Bakery Atlanta is a collective of artists, curators, and administrators dedicated to offering alternative models to local creatives and the general public. We host and produce experiences that connect and inspire people through collaboration, experimentation, and play.The Bakery's South Downtown Gallery is located at 92 Peachtree St SW, Atlanta, GA, 30303. We are only open for events and appointments.

The Bakery is thrilled to present &quot;Cycles: Reviving Found Materials,&quot; a group exhibition focused on showing objects in a revived light. Featuring diverse works ranging from a bottlecap headdress to chicken wings encased in resin to become a sculptural object, we encourage viewers to think outside of the landfill and to ask themselves: How can I break the cycle?“Our shared environment is more important than our individual experiences, as the environment affects us all. Just as we can recognize and break the negative cycles that present themselves in our individual lives, so can we break the parasitic cycle of waste and replace” - Tati T Pinckney (they/them) Curator of &quot;Cycles&quot; and Program Assistant at The BakeryCycles: Reviving Found Materials will be on-view April 29 to May 1 from 4-8 and May 2 from 12-2 pm. Tati T Pinckney is an illustrator and graphic artist located in Atlanta, Georgia.
