<h2>The Georgia Tech Library’s Patent and Trademark Resource Center, in partnership with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), offers for the first time a six-week intellectual property summer series online. This series includes ten workshops led by USPTO experts through June and July, and all workshops are free and open to the public.   </h2><h2></h2>

<h3>Session Description:</h3><h3>Learn about intellectual property basics at this interactive virtual session. In this module, the speaker will provide a brief overview of the different types of IP (patents, trademarks, trade secrets, and copyrights), followed by a review of the patenting process from invention to application to issue. Finally, the speaker will cover the requirements for patentability, how to determine whether a provisional or non-provisional application is right for you, and how to weigh the costs and benefits of hiring a patent attorney. </h3><h3>Speaker:</h3><h3>Elizabeth L.
