The Virtual Candace Awards

The National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc.(NCBW) is a national, non-profit, volunteer organization for African American women. Its members address common issues in their communities, families and personal lives in the areas of Health, Education, Economic Empowerment, and Public Policy while also promoting gender and racial equity, primarily on behalf of Black women and girls.The New Haven Metropolitan Chapter of NCBW is a 501(c)3 organization that fosters the vision and mission of the national organization in the New Haven and Bridgeport county areas of Connecticut by hosting and sponsoring various events throughout the year that help bring change within our community.

Join us for a royal afternoon honoring women frontline workers who make a difference in the lives of women and girls of color and support our mission of eliminating the socioeconomic and gender inequality facing them, specifically in the areas of education, health, economics and public policy.</p>
