Will the bookstore be open during this workshop?

No. This is an after-store-hours event and is not open to anyone without a ticket.

Why does the model have to be nude?

Nude art has major historical significance. The study of different body types contributes to an artist's education. If you don't know human anatomy, how can you make a convincing drawing?

Why does the age limit start at 14 and not 18?

Arts and science high schools host regular figure drawing classes during the school year. They emphasize a well-rounded education blending artistic and academic disciplines. We would like to encourage high school-aged students to attend if they'd like to continue studying.

I'm uncomfortable with nudity. Don't you have any other workshops?

Can we take a picture of the pose to work from later?

Ask the models for permission and rates.

Can we tip the models?

Yes! There will be a tip jar, and you can ask for electronic payment info.
