Your book is your ticket:)</li></ul>UPDATED SCHEDULE<ul><li>5:30–6:00 PM — Arrivals, food &amp; drink, mingling</li><li>6:00–7:00 PM — FOOD BY THE BOOK: Journalist Carla Meyer and Shelley Blanton-Stroud in conversation about history, fiction, and the real-life events that inspired the novel — with time for audience questions.</li><li>7:00–8:30 PM — Book signing, more food &amp; drink, visiting</li></ul>Magpie’s Janel Inouye and Ed Rohr have done an AMAZING job crafting a menu of passed small plates that come right out of the pages of the novel: Lobster Bisque, California halibut with green beans, Niman Ranch New York Steak with steamed broccoli, prawn cocktail, chicken Jerusalem, blinis with caviar, hang town fry, and baked smashed potatoes. There will be an open bar as well as a couple varieties of Sancerre, which plays a role in the plot.Thank you for being so supportive of a Sacramentan’s bookish journey.
