Welcome to the Teen Health Summit presented by the Fayetteville-Cumberland Youth Councils! We are so excited to be hosting this youth lead health summit, and connecting virtually! As youth, it is important that we teach each other with tools and skills to benefit ourselves and our communities. Our health is one of the most important part of our existence.<h1>Program Description</h1>Meditation &amp; Mindfulness Ft. Mental Health Workshop - For our first workshop, we’ll be focusing on mental health. We know it’s been hard the past year, but we want to ensure everyone an outlet and safe space for reflection and support, not only for yourself but for the people around you. Join us and discuss self-reflection, strategies to improve mental health, support, and ways to become an advocate!Meditation- During this session, we’ll be transporting you to another reality! That’s right! We’re hosting a meditation session, and don’t worry, we’ll be providing the music and the vibes! Join us for a spectacularly ethereal experience. Who knew relaxation could be so fun?Physical Health Workshop(Spring Into Fitness/ Healthy Body-Health Mind) - Everyone knows that the perfect complement to a healthy mind is a healthy body! In this workshop, we’ll be discussing the importance of physical health and appreciating everything that your body does for you! You won’t want to miss this session because this season, we’re springing into fitness!Advocacy Workshop - Our final workshop is simply about youth advocacy. We’ll be focusing on empowerment and how the youth in our community have the power to stand up and speak loud about ourselves and our peers. We hope that you will join us and learn different reasons and methods to make your voice heard.
