An introduction to Soroptimist International and the club in Chester. What we do and who we are.

We invite you to learn more about Soroptimist International in Chester for women with enthusiasm and energy, who are interested in friendship to take the work of Soroptimist International forward. We are holding a ‘Get to Know Chester Soroptimist International’ evening on 17 May 2021 (on Zoom of course!) at 7.30pm, for women to find out about our local club.Members enjoy affiliation to a 100-year-old international organisation that stands up for women and girls, in local communities. Members meet and collaborate with women from varied backgrounds to weave a common purpose.One of our club members said: “Through becoming a member not only have I made friends with likeminded women, I have also been actively involved in some really exciting projects and fundraising ideas. Also, SI Chester is connected with so many other groups locally that through my involvement, I now really feel part of the wider-Chester community.”Come and meet some of the current members and find out what we do. If you decide to become a member you can add your strength to the voices of Soroptimist International to make a difference locally and globally. If you just want to come and listen to find out more about the organisation, you are also very welcome.
