Students live in an information-rich, digitally connected world, making it especially important for them to learn how to leverage resources and network while also thinking critically about the work that they consume and produce. Connected Learning (CL) challenges students to pursue their interests, develop relationships, and access learning opportunities within and beyond the classroom. Research indicates that the CL approach narrows equity gaps and equips students to take ownership of their learning. In this workshop, you will be introduced to CL design principles and consider ways to increase the connectedness of an activity in your course.For Future Faculty Program participants, this session fulfills the &quot;Assignments, Assessment &amp; Active Learning&quot; requirement.This session is only open to Northeastern University educators. Please use your Northeastern email when registering.
