English Train the Trainer Two-Day CourseWhen: October 15th &amp; 16th 2025 8am-4pmWhere: Pine Grove Grange 2935 Van Horn Dr., Hood River, OR 97031Cost: $0-$85 sliding scale *We do not want cost to be a barrier to people participating, if you can pay the full asking amount please do. Otherwise there are discounted and free ticket options available. Our priority is participation and education.What: The "Train the Trainer" is a 2-day course taught in English by skilled trainers from the Washington State Department of Agriculture. This is a hands-on and interactive course designed to train agricultural employers, farm managers, supervisors and individuals on how to successfully administer in-house training of agricultural workers and pesticide handlers. It provides individuals with the knowledge and tools to conduct practical pesticide safety training that complies with state and federal requirements of the EPA’s Worker Protection Standard (WPS). <ul><li>First day: The group is divided into two smaller groups that rotate though four, 80-minute training modules.</li></ul><ul><li>Second Day:Participants conduct a series of hands-on activities that provide them with a comprehensive review of the training points required by WPS to be covered during pesticide training.
