1.5 C - The Future of Grid Energy Storage - Panel Event
Join CTAN as we bring together cutting edge grid energy storage startups for a night of panel discussions and networking.
DETAILS
Climate Tech Action Network (CTAN) is introducing 1.5C, a quarterly climate technology panel event that will focus on the engineering and scientific challenges facing different verticals of the climate crisis. Our first event is centered around grid energy storage, one of the most crucial and complex problems of greening the energy supply. We are bringing together some of the hottest startups in the field to explore the complex trade-offs in cost, feasibility, scalability, and carbon reduction that each of these approaches brings.
1.5C is a place for engineers and investors to hear about real results, not pitches. We bring together cutting edge startups as panelists, renowned subject matter experts as moderators, and the broader engineering community for an evening of networking and critical inquiry into the technology questions that will shape the next century of human progress. 1.5C is an “on-ramp” to learn about emerging technological challenges, designed to appeal to engineering generalists and climate technologists.
