So Kids SOAR (Formerly Dreams For Kids DC) and On The Edge Children's Foundation invite you to our 14th annual Water Sports Clinic, sponsored by Hoffmaster's Marina, Arnold F Baggins Foundation, RBC Wealth Management and Prince William Marina.

Come join the fun for a day of water sports! Activities include waterskiing, tubing, canoeing, paddle-boarding, obstacle course, and more!

BY REGISTERING AS A PARTICIPANT OR VOLUNTEER YOU ARE AGREEING TO OUR WAIVER AND THAT YOU ARE FULLY VACCINATED AGAINST COVID-19.

WHAT: So Kids SOAR will be bringing together youth with physical and developmental disabilities, their families, trained water-skiers, boaters, and volunteers for a free day of waterskiing, tubing, and more!

WHEN: Saturday, July 13th, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

WHERE: Pohick Bay Regional Park, 6501 Pohick Bay Drive, Lorton, VA

WHY: So Kids SOAR's clinics are 100% FREE and enable children with disabilities to enjoy sports and realize their full potential to succeed in all walks of life.

WHO & HOW: Please register above as a child participant, parent/guardian, or volunteer -- please input the most relevant contact information for us to reach you. This clinic is open to all SKS children aged 4 to 24. There is a 200lb weight limit for waterskiing and no brittle bones or seizures for safety reasons. No previous experience is required. Instructors and equipment will be provided for all participants. Just show up, So Kids SOAR (SKS) and On The Edge water-skiers will take care of the rest!

**ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST HAVE A PARENT/REGISTER ON-SITE AT ALL TIMES, ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST REGISTER WITH A PARENT/REGISTER**

*You will be receiving an email after signing up asking for your child's preference to waterski, tube, or do both AND your desired time slot. PLEASE RESPOND TO THIS EMAIL OR YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ATTEND!*

**Please note that there is a 200-pound weight limit for waterskiing.**

***Safety Restrictions: NO BRITTLE BONES OR SEIZURES!***

VOLUNTEERS: Must be at least age 15 or over and have been a previous SKS volunteer; those who register who are not first-time volunteers must email Glenda Fu at Glenda@sokidssoar.org first. Volunteers - please note, that we will have mandatory volunteer training by zoom leading up to the clinic. Please remember that we are not liable for lost or missing items so please keep all of your personal belongings on you at all times or stored somewhere safely. We want volunteers who will be enthusiastic and encourage our SKS kids - only register if you are ready to be a committed and engaged volunteer.
