Please join us for a day to raise Awareness of Missing and Murder Native Women, Men & Children.  This event will repeat 2 x on Sat May 1.

In 2019, the US Senate passed an important resolution recognizing May 5, 2019, as a National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murder Native Women and Girls. Both the House and Senate held hearings on MMIW. &quot;The continuing reports of abductions and murders of Native women and girls represent one of the most horrific aspects of the spectrum of violence committed against Native women. The murder rate of Native women is more than ten times the national average on some reservations. Often, these disappearances or murders are connected to crimes of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, stalking, and sex trafficking.&quot; Event begins at 10:00 am with an opening blessing. Speakers will begin at 11 am - 12 noon and repeat from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm.
