42nd Annual Garden Tour...Sowing the Seeds: A Season of Renewal

The Museum of Old Newbury preserves and interprets the history of “Old Newbury” including Newbury, Newburyport, and West Newbury from pre-settlement to the present. Founded in 1877, the Museum carries out its mission through the preservation and administration of the Cushing House, the Perkins Engraving Plant, and other historic structures on its High Street campus and furthers its purpose through lectures, exhibitions, educational programs, publications, and research.

A hybrid, COVID-safe, in-person Garden Tour celebrates the Museum of Old Newbury’s 42nd installment of the popular event.

The Museum of Old Newbury has secured eight gardens and will provided an online tour booklet that shares insight into the owners&#x27; thinking and personalities. This digital booklet will include directions to each garden and a listing of all nearby restaurants. It will be delivered to your inbox on Friday, June 11, 2021 in the early afternoon and will be sharable comensurate with the number of tickets purchased.The 42nd Annual Garden Tour, Sowing the Seeds: A Season of Renewal occurs rain or shine. It is an inspiration for those ranging from professionals seriously interested in garden design and horticulture, to enthusiasts who simply love beautiful gardens. This is an in-person event. Due to a requirement within our ticketing system, you must select a &quot;day&quot; to complete purchase.
