Find your people, Find your practice. We are a place where community and contemplation meet. No more trying to be mindful alone.The Hive exists to develop creative, compassionate, and mindfully-engaged citizens in the Cincinnati region through small group classes and workshops. We have curated a collective of proven teachers, facilitators, and spiritual directors to help guide your learning in mindfulness, contemplation, art and action. We hope you'll try a class and like it enough to become a regular member. Your partnership helps make this nonprofit possible.(As a social enterprise, the Hive shares our story with photos of classes and events. Click here to join today.</a></p><h2>The Artist's Journey: Intersections of Healing &amp; Art</h2><h3>Domains: Creative Expression, Contemplative Practice</h3><p>As artists, our experiences coming into our creative practices were some of the fundamental, forming, AHA moments of our developing life. In this workshop we will reflect on our own artist story, explore how our ego plays its role in our life and meditate on our vision and intentions for our future creative practices and impact. </p><p>With a bit of ceremony, ritual and reverence mixed in, we will be journalling, connecting in small groups, utilizing movement, meditation and yoga. Join us while we cultivate a space for clarity, self-acceptance and wonder at the magic that we, as creative people are. </p><p>A lifelong curious cat, Mary is a seeker. Wildly interested in individual human’s personal growth and the fine separation + connection between the juxtapositions of beauty and pain. She holds space for others in many different formats in her life and finds the "art" all along the spectrum of our existence. She has studied art, education, yoga, crystal therapy and Alexander Technique and is currently studying Feminine form, Tantric Ayurveda in a year long study program. </p><h3>Your Zoom link will be sent with your registration confirmation.
