An intimate conversation on what self-care truly is and its importance in our lives as we care for our loved ones.
There have been many lessons taught and learned during the course of this pandemic. The biggest lessons for most parents and caregivers of children with special needs, I believe, fell in the realm of self-care. Selfcare went beyond the need for just a spa day or a quiet walk, especially when solitude came at a premium for most parents who add the title of teacher/teacher assistant, para, nurse, student coordinator to their everyday list of titles. For this reason, I am holding a webinar to discuss the topic with mothers from our community that continued to deal with the care of their home, job, and children while staying emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually well.
My first ministry after my family will always be to God's Jewels. Those who care for and protect the most precious uniquely designed children of God. In writing "God Providence," I learned some valuable lessons that I need to share with my village. In the past, I have taught self-care. Since the COVID pandemic, I have an entirely new perspective.
Join us for this intimate conversation as we discuss the revelations we learned and the tool we use to get through each day's gifts and challenges.
