Join Rollingwood Village to remove litter before it can enter our waterways via Hooes Run. Cleanup being held in conjunction w/ Dumpster Day

Thank you for volunteering to join Rollingwood Village and Occoquan District Supervisor Boddye for this community cleanup!

Spend a spring morning with neighbors beautifying the community and protecting our waterways during the Rollingwood Village Community Cleanup. Keep Prince William Beautiful is supplying a safety vest, gloves, trash pickers and trash bags to use during the event. In addition to litter collection, we are seeking volunteers to bring trash bags to the Dumpster Day taking place at Bethel Church for disposal. Event check-in will occur there. Volunteers can also save themselves a trip to the landfill, bringing their own unwanted items to Dumpster Day. During this event, Supervisor Boddye partners with Prince William County Public Works to make it convenient to dispose of old furniture, yard waste and non-hazardous items by bringing dumpsters to the #OccoquanDistrict for the day. We’ll also collect cleaned bottles and jars for glass recycling. Special thanks to Bethel United Methodist Church for serving as the host location!

Please note the following restricted items:
<ul><li>Fuel tanks or drums
</li><li>Motor oil
</li><li>Household hazardous waste (this includes paint thinners)
</li><li>Electronics – dispose of these at no charge, at the landfill on Wednesdays and Saturdays
</li><li>Antifreeze
</li><li>Pool chemicals
</li><li>Construction material
</li></ul>For more information proper disposal, contact 703-792-5750. If you have furniture or electronics which still have life left in them, consider donating to the Habitat for Humanity Restore.
