Do I need to be an "artist" or have creative experience to join this group?

Accepted Answer

No! Even if you don't consider yourself an "artist," or you don't know what your creative medium is, this workshop will support you in finding it.  We will gently discover new facets of our creative selves and artist identity along the way. No creative experience required.

Question 2

Do I need a copy of "The Artist's Way" for this workshop?

Accepted Answer

Rye will teach the important elements of the book from a critical perspective, so it is not necessary to read the book if this feels best for you. If you plan on reading, you can buy a used copy on thriftbooks.com. You will also need a notebook that excites you & a pen that you enjoy writing with.
