The SNF Paideia program serves as a hub for civic dialogue in undergraduate education at Penn. In collaboration with other Penn programs and organizations, SNF Paideia provides opportunities for students to develop the knowledge, skills, ethical frameworks, and experiences necessary to be informed, engaged, and effective community members and leaders. We encourage the free exchange of ideas, civil and robust discussion of divergent views, and the integration of individual and community wellness, service, and citizenship through SNF Paideia designated courses, a fellows program, and campus events.

<h1>Future of Conservatism and the Republican Party Speaker Series - Sarah Isgur</h1>Join us for a Speaker Series on the Future of American Conservatism and the Republican Party. Talks will be interactive and involve Q&A .Sarah Isgur will join us on April 9th at 2pm. When it comes to explaining the most important events in law and politics, Isgur’s experience on three presidential campaigns and all three branches of the federal government brings a unique perspective on the news of the day and an unparalleled knowledge of how decisions in Washington really get made. Isgur most recently served in the Department of Justice as the Director of the Office of Public Affairs and Senior Counsel to the Deputy Attorney General during the Russia investigation. She was backstage for more than a half dozen presidential debates as the Deputy Campaign Manager for Carly Fiorina’s presidential campaign. She is a graduate of Harvard Law School and Northwestern University and clerked for Judge Edith H. Jones of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Isgur is a staff writer and host of the legal podcast Advisory Opinions for The Dispatch.Registration is required and is intended for students at the University of Pennsylvania. This event is related to the <a href="https://snfpaideia.upenn.edu/course/spring/2021/american-conservatism-from-taft-to-trump/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">American Conservatism from Taft to Trump </a>course offered in Spring 2021 at Penn.
