Learn24 is an initiative led by the Bowser Administration to ensure children and youth in the District have access to quality educational and enrichment activities beyond the school day.The Office of Out of School Time Grants and Youth Outcomes, located in the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Education and informed by the Commission on Out of School Time Grants and Youth Outcomes, leads the Learn24 network.

Youth Mental Health First Aid USA is a public education program that introduces participants to the unique risk factors and warning signs of mental health problems in adolescents, builds understanding of the importance of early intervention, and teaches individuals how to help an adolescent in crisis or experiencing a mental health challenge.This blended learning course teaches participants the risk factors and warning signs of a variety of mental health challenges common among adolescents, including anxiety, depression, psychosis, eating disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, disruptive behavior disorders, and substance use disorder.This workshop is open to DC public, public charter, private school, and youth serving community-based organization staff ONLY. If you are not a staff member at a qualifying school/agency your registration will be canceled.Participants are required to complete a 2-hour self-paced intro course prior to attending the virtual training.All pre-work and virtual details will be provided to participants 1 week prior to their training date.
