FilmFest, held in the heart of Redlands, provides an enjoyable evening of film, food, and fellowship, while showcasing women filmmakers and issues that impact women.

Starting at 5:45 pm, join us for a reception with an extensive buffet of hot and cold hors d’oeuvres and desserts, wine, and beer from Escape Brewery in the Esri Cafe. Attendees move to the auditorium at 7:00 pm to see short films that are funny, thought-provoking, artistic and inspiring. These award-winning and culturally diverse films encompass several genres - drama, documentary and comedy incorporating animation and music to tell their stories.

Tickets - $55 plus Eventbrite fees -includes all food and drinks.

FilmFest serves as a fundraiser for the Redlands Branch of the American Association of University Women's Mission Fund, providing scholarships, STEM education, and empowerment for local girls and women. AAUW is dedicated to improving the lives of women and girls through education, empowerment and advocacy.

We are also hosting a second showing of FilmFest as a Sunday afternoon Matinee on April 26th, as well a screening of Breakaway Femmes, a powerful documentary celebrating the pioneering women of professional cycling in the Tour de France, will be presented by AAUW Redlands in collaboration with the Redlands Bicycle Classic and Cyclery USA on March 8, 2026, at 2:00 pm at Crafton Hills College.
