You will receive the event link by email a few days before the Conference. A reminder with the date, time and the Zoom link will also be sent shortly before the event begins. Please check your spam folder if you don’t see it.

To ensure you receive the email with the Zoom link to enter the Conference, please add our address (animal.law.org@gmail.com) to your email contacts or safe sender list.

We kindly ask that you do not share your personal access link to the Conference. If someone you know is interested, please encourage them to register individually so we can ensure proper access and communication.

All important updates will be sent to registered participants via email. You can also follow our website or our social media channels for news and announcements.

Is the conference free to attend?

Yes, participation in the conference is free of charge. However, registration is required to receive the event link and access materials.

In what language will the conference be held?

The conference will be held in English and Russian, with simultaneous interpretation. Some sessions may provide slides or supporting materials in only one language, with translations available upon request where feasible.

Will the sessions be recorded?

Yes, the sessions will be recorded and may be made available to registered participants who attended the sessions in real time. After appropriate editing and processing, the recordings will also be made publicly available on our YouTube channel: http://www.youtube.com/@AnimalLawWorkshop.

Who is the conference for?

The conference is open to scholars, students, legal practitioners, animal advocates, and all those interested in the intersection of law and ethics in human–animal relations and the provision of animal welfare.

Can I ask questions during the sessions?

Certainly. A dedicated Q&A time will be indicated in the Conference program. You may also submit your questions and share your comments in the Zoom chat and/or during the live discussion, depending on the format of the session (as determined by the moderator).

Do I need to install any special software to attend?

Accepted Answer

No special software is required. The Conference will be held online via Zoom. You can join the Conference directly through your web browser using the link provided in the confirmation email you received upon registration.

Will I receive a certificate of attendance?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Certificates of attendance will be issued upon request to participants who actually attended the Conference. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide certificates to those who registered but did not attend.
