AfricArena is the stage where Africa's best tech startup talents shine. AfricArena believes in the potential of tech startup culture in Africa. Grounded by this belief, we accelerate the growth of these tech startups and the ecosystem in which they operate by providing a platform where they can tell their story, gain valuable networks and attain funding.The annual AfricaArena Summit is an annual conference that showcases Africa’s best startups and innovators in front of an audience of local and international investors looking for world-class talent.But before the Summit, pre-selections take place at various destinations across Africa. The AfricArena Tour scours the major capitals of the continent in search of tech startups that are shaking grounds.After the success of our previous 4 events, AfricArena Summit returned to Cape Town from the 14th to the16th of November 2021 where delegates will hear from some of the tech scene's leading visionaries, and startups will have an opportunity to pitch their innovative solutions to corporates and investors.

Join the AfricArena Team and its partners in the virtual launch event of the AfricArena report, The State of Tech in Africa 2021. Going into its fifth year, AfricArena has the privilege of operating in three key spheres that underpin Africa’s economic landscape. These being: tech startups, corporations, and investors (i.e. angel investors, VCs, CVCs and other institutional investors). Through open innovation challenges, in partnership with corporations, we aim to bring together these 3 spheres, to foster co-investment and collaboration that can move the economies and people of the continent forward. This research provides insight into the opportunities, challenges and trends in tech innovation and investment in Africa, from the perspectives of startup founders, investors and corporates.
