How many items can I bring to the swap?

Accepted Answer

Bring up to 20 special clothing or accessory items you know someone else will love. Select items you would proudly gift to a friend. Items should be in good condition and clean.

Will you accept children's clothing?

Our clothing swap is for adult items only.

Question 3

What items will you accept?

Accepted Answer

Clothing items should be for adults of all genders, in good condition and clean. We also welcome accessories  including purses, belts, sunglasses, scarves. Please do not bring jewelry.

What items will you not accept?

Accepted Answer

Please do not bring socks or undergarments, swimsuits, lingerie or children’s clothing. Please also do not bring jewelry. We ask that you kindly do not bring soiled items, or items in poor condition.

Question 5

Can I drop off in advance of the event?

Accepted Answer

Yes! We strongly encourage you to drop off items in advance of the event at the ICA front desk during museum hours 11a-5p Wednesday July 30th through Saturday August 2nd, or at 11a day of. There is a loading zone from 11am-3pm directly in front of the museum to allow for a swift drop off.

Question 6

How does the token system work?

Accepted Answer

When you drop off your items, you will receive tokens that will allow you to then “shop” the event on Sunday, August 3rd from 12-4pm. We encourage you to drop-off in advance and collect your tokens early.

Question 7

What happens to remaining items at the end of the clothing swap?

Accepted Answer

Any remaining items will be donated to a local SF organization in need.
