In this interactive workshop, participants will be expected to engage in discussion, as we cover the following topics:</p><ul><li> Interpreting guidelines and best practices when interpreting for survivors of crimes</li><li>Unique vocabulary and commonly used terms in cases involving Domestic Violence</li><li>Nuances and potential issues interpreters encounter when providing interpreting in Victim Services</li><li>Language Access Rights and Laws​</li></ul><p>This language neutral workshop is ideal for interpreters interested in working with victim services.</p><p><strong>TARGET AUDIENCE:</strong>This workshop is ideal for aspiring and working interpreters interested in providing interpreting for victim services. Bilingual speakers and/or general audience interested to learn about victim services are also encouraged to attend the workshop<strong>WEBINAR REGISTRATION:</strong>Upon purchasing the ticket, registrants will receive an automated email confirming the purchase.
