<h1>Event Description</h1><p>A+ College Ready is proud to partner with the Alabama State Department of Education (ALSDE) to make high-quality math and English virtual training available for Alabama public school teachers for selected courses listed below. E3 Summer Training for mathematics and English provides educators with content-based, pedagogy-driven, teacher-to-teacher training, designed to <strong>Equip</strong> teachers with the methods, tools, and resources needed to <strong>Empower</strong> students to be engaged and motivated learners so that we may <strong>Expect More</strong> for education in Alabama! The curricula and strategies covered in this four-day training have been designed to increase rigor in the classroom for all students. Teachers who attend this training event will receive:</p><ul><li>Detailed overview of the new course of study</li><li>Specialized training designed by expert educators for teachers of any level.</li><li>Full access to rigorous classroom-ready lessons.</li><li>Vertical alignment across grade levels.</li><li>Ongoing support from expert educators.</li></ul><h2>Funding</h2><p>Districts may apply for Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief II Funds (ESSER II Funds) from the ALSDE to pay for public school teachers&#x27; participation in this event. </p><h2>Course Offerings</h2><h3>English Course Offerings</h3><ul><li>English 6 - Year 1</li><li>English 7 - Year 1</li><li>English 8 - Year 1</li></ul><h3>Math Course Offerings</h3><ul><li>Math 6 - Year 1</li><li>Math 7 /Accelerated Math 7 - Year 1</li><li>Math 8/ Accelerated Math 8 - Year 1</li><li>Algebra I with Probability - Year 1</li><li>Geometry with Data Analysis - Year 1</li></ul><h2>Letter Of Agreement (LOA) Eligibility</h2><p>Completion of this training will NOT meet an A+ College Ready Program School teacher&#x27;s requirement for Year 1 training and s/he will NOT be eligible for the opportunity to sign a 2021 - 2022 Letter of Agreement (LOA) and earn the LOA stipends. LOA eligibility for A+ College Ready Program School teachers is based on attendance at E3 Summer Training at <a href="https://www.eventbrite.com/e/142136635503" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Wetumpka</a> or <a href="https://www.eventbrite.com/e/144672125221" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Hewitt-Trussville</a>.</p><h2>Cancellation Policy</h2><p>Cancellations will be accepted up to 7 days prior to the start of the event. If not received, the school or district of the registered participant will be responsible for the full cost of registration, $850. </p><p>A+ College Ready reserves the right to cancel courses by June11, 2021 if registration numbers are too low.</p>
