Not at all! This workshop is beginner-friendly and open to all skill levels. Whether you're a seasoned artist or just here for the vibes, you'll receive step-by-step guidance and creative freedom to make your vase uniquely yours.

What is included with my ticket?

A book-shaped vase, all painting materials (paints, brushes, palettes, sealant), optional decorative elements like florals, and light refreshments. Instruction provided. There will be an option to add on a smaller stacked book shaped vase for small plants or utensils!

Can I shop before or after the event?

Absolutely! We encourage you to arrive early or stick around after class to browse the curated bookshelves, floral offerings, and bookish gifts that make Petals & Pages so special. It’s all part of the creative experience.

Petals & Pages is a queer & feminist independent bookstore in Denver, CO. We are proudly lesbian-owned and managed. We host writing workshops, author events, book clubs, art and dance classes, and a variety of rotating events in our store.

Paint n' Play Denver, the artistic host of the event, is a black and woman-owned mobile art studio that collaborates with local businesses, communities, and venues in the Front Range offering traditional and quite quirky paint party and art workshop events.  We do all-age private and public events!

Can I book Paint n' Play Denver outside of this event?

You sure can! In fact, we built our roots hosting kid's paint parties in homes, rec centers, schools, and libraries before offering events for grown-ups. Now you can book us for your corporate event, private party, community event, school or at your home like the good old days!
