CSEC: An Overview for Social WorkersWhat is Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children and Sex Trafficking?What does it look like?How does it happen?How can it be prevented?How can we, as social workers, respond?This training will address the United Nations, United States, and Hawaii definitions of sex trafficking (including CSEC); explore recent research on what it looks like and how it happens in Hawaii; discuss the interplay of trauma and trafficking; and provide preventive and responsive actions and tools for social workers in any social work role.This course has been approved for 2 social work credit hours by NASW Hawaii.Presenter:Tim Hitchens, MSWEducation Program ManagerHo'ōla Nā Pua<aside>CE Policies:</aside><aside>Attendance Verification</aside><aside>Attendance is logged by the webinar platform Zoom. It is expected that you will attend the full 2 hour session to receive 2 training credit hours.
