Qigong movement, meditations and breath to take advantage of Autumnal energies.

--This Free Introductory Class offers both a “taste” of the upcoming series and a practice drawn from the curriculum of a longer series. It is not simply a “sales pitch”, and you are welcome to join even if you cannot attend the series.--The Zoom link is on your ticket, but I will also send that information to registrants the day of the class.--The Series will run from August 11 to October 13. Only 10 weeks of the Tao Autumn this time as I'll be in Japan the last part of October. (Tao Autumn begins in August!)--If you can't attend live, I will send a video of the class to all who register.--Important Note for my students! Eventbrite is limiting registration to 25 people. If you are a current or recent-past student of mine, just email me directly and I'll put you on the list to receive the zoom link and the video recording.In Tao and Chinese Medicine, Autumn is a time of winding down, letting go and becoming skillful with our Qi energy. We take advantage of this time by learning and cultivating practices that cultivate our center and clarity. We will return to the beautiful Kwan Yin Standing Qigong with its images of sea and sky, moon and stars. Our internal focus will use the Six Healing Sounds and the self-care of Self Chi Nei Tsang. We will balance this by using simple ritual to honor the Elements and the Earth as she prepares for Winter. Join us for a short intro talk and a taste of these wonderful practices.
