Celebrate the first day of Spring at Zenger Farm! Bring your family and friends to this Open Farm Day and explore the farm while enjoying staffed activity booths, self-guided tours, and delicious food made by Community Chefs Jenny and Paula. It's time to get your hands dirty and take in the fresh air!

Our activity booths include:

Tea Making: We'll be sharing Zenger Farm's organically grown fresh herbs from our garden, which you can use to make your own delicious tea combinations.
Gardening: Spring means it's time to finally dig in and get your hands dirty! You'll be able to help in our gardens with adult and kid-friendly activities, like planting spring seeds, mulching garden paths, weeding, etc.
Painting & Planting: Bring out your inner artist and decorate your own pots with bright paints. Once the pot is finished, you can plant from variety of seeds to take home.

You can sign up for one of two time-slots: please choose either 1:00-2:30PM, or 3:00-4:30PM. This will allow for plenty of social distancing to keep staff and visitors safe.

After you leave the Farm, make sure to tune in at 4:00PM for our Spring for Zenger program, including a gardening panel discussion with plenty of advice and tips for growing at home. Register for Spring for Zenger here!

When you arrive, you’ll check-in and review safety protocols. Be sure to bring a mask and dress for the weather. Bring any snacks and water bottles you need. Bathrooms and water bottle filling will be available.

Additional Information

Sliding Scale: There is no cost to attend this Open Farm Day which is made possible through our sliding scale or "pay as you can" model. Please pay what you are able to, using the "Donation" option while registering. The suggested scale is $5-$100 per family or group.
