Please join Good Business Colorado, Small Business Majority, and our partner organizations for a Q&amp;A for Small Business on Colorado&#x27;s Health Insurance Option.If the Colorado Health Insurance Option bill passes, it would help small businesses access lower-cost healthcare insurance plans through a two-phased process. First, the state would establish standardized health plans for both individuals and small groups which private insurance carriers would have two years to offer voluntarily at a 20% cost reduction to consumers. If they don’t, the state would create a Colorado Option Authority to offer the plans with federal funding from tax credit savings.
