A Fasting Workshop led by industry professionals at Carmel Lake Events

Fasting: An ancient practice with breakthrough science that is an invaluable strategy for extraordinary health, weight loss resistance, and longevity.There's a reason why "fasting" has been one of the most researched topics in the last two years, and we're here to teach you why it's much more than just the latest wellness trend. Whether you are new to fasting or you're a seasoned faster, this workshop will help you radically change the way you relate to food and life. Yes, it is that powerful!  Julie Hartley, Registered dietician, integrative health coach, and exercise specialist,  has practiced fasting for 25 years and calls it "the best tool in her tool box." Join Julie as she presents different forms of fasting, benefits, and tools to customize and determine which type is best for you. Dr. Colleen Fuller will also be presenting practical information on herbal support that will help to aid and nourish you on this journey.  Our hope is that you will leave the workshop invigorated and with a game plan to incorporate this ancient practice into your life. And even though we are discussing fasting, a delicious brunch will be included! Our Health and Safety Protocol: This event has limited tickets available representing first, our commitment to personalized attention and details, but will also provide ample room for physical distancing. The cleaning of our space and safe preparation of food and beverages will continue as it did pre-covid, during Covid, and forever because that was always our standard. The Carmel Lake space is also equipped with high quality air filters (REME HALO® Whole Home In-Duct Air Purifier) that remove most bacteria and viral particles and potential allergens. And just as we ask of our staff, we ask you to stay home if you have fever, respiratory symptoms, or other potentially contagious illness or have been exposed to anyone with a communicable illness.
