Kingman And Heritage Islands Conservation Area

<p>You can contribute to amphibian conservation in your community! DOEE FrogWatch Chapter Volunteers collect and submit data on calling frogs and toads at streams, ponds, and wetlands in and around the District. These important data are reviewed by DOEE biologists and compiled for FrogWatch USA in a national database where professionals and members of the general public alike can explore trends in frog and toad breeding across space and time.</p><p>If you have completed the online training, register for a monitoring session by registering for individual Eventbrite events. These monthly in-person monitoring sessions will take place at Kingman and Heritage Islands with Living Classrooms and District Department of Energy and Environment (DOEE) staff. Each event will be limited to 18 registrations and will follow Covid-safe protocols. You will receive information on meeting location and other important details the week of the event. </p>
