Brought to you by Electric Vehicle Association (EVA) England, a consumer association offering a voice to EV drivers, this webinar will tie together recently conducted research about who is driving an electric vehicle today and their reasons for going electric, with recent Government proposals to make public charging easier and more accessible. This will be an important event for drivers who want to better understand EV uptake, how public charging might be improved, and what they can expect from EVA England as it begins welcoming members!Attendees will hear from:<ul><li><a href="https://michaelzdanowski.webflow.io" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Michael Zdanowski</a>, a consultant in the low carbon sector, on his insights into EV drivers today derived from research he conducted with EVA England, New Automotive and Octopus Energy in November-December 2020</li><li>A representative from the UK Government&#x27;s Office for Zero Emission Vehicles, who will speak to the ongoing consultation on &#x27;<a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/consultations/the-consumer-experience-at-public-electric-vehicle-chargepoints" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">The consumer experience of public chargepoints</a>&#x27; and how the Government might intervene in the sector</li><li>A member of the EVA England board who will tie these two themes together, and update attendees on their work, what they can expect from a consumer association advocating for EV drivers, and the benefits of membership</li></ul>The short talks will be followed by a panel discussion and Q&amp;A session.
