Events in this collection focus on growing edibles (vegetables, fruits, herbs and spices) in home, school and community gardens.  Learn how to garden, how to organize and set up a community or school garden or how to grow a new crop in a new way.

Fall is a great time to grow vegetables in northeast Florida. If you are new to vegetable gardening or new to Florida, join us to learn how to get started. This class will cover the basics of planning for a fall vegetable garden, including:<ul><li>Permissions</li><li>Site Assessment</li><li>Keeping Track of Your Garden</li><li>Types of Vegetable Gardens</li><li>Costs and Benefits</li><li>Seasonal Crops</li><li>Direct Seeding vs. Transplants</li><li>Maintaining the Garden</li><li>Harvesting and Storing Produce</li></ul>This class will be held ONLINE VIA ZOOM.Please note: Recording the presentation, either video or audio, is not permitted unless written permission is provided by the educator.
